What’s New for MEM and EMP This Fall
As we finalize the summer term and gear up for a busy fall, both the MEM and EMP programs are going through their annual process of refining course offerings, with instructors fine-tuning materials and, in some cases, introducing refreshed content.
Expanding Project Management Offerings
Building on the popular mandatory project management course taught by Dr. Ahmad Teymouri, MEM is now offering three additional courses focused on complex projects and programs: MEM 6100, MEM 5119, and MEM 6285. Many students have achieved their PMP designation shortly after graduation, and these courses offer a path to broaden their career options by exploring larger-scale project management issues and approaches.
New AI Elective for MEM Students
As AI continues to shape industries across the board, eligible MEM students can now augment their studies with a new optional course suited to business innovation: MIAI 5150, offered in Winter 2027, a great addition for anyone looking to grow their ability to lead technical initiatives, projects, and organizations.
EMP Program Review
EMP is currently undergoing a significant review aimed at strengthening the program and broadening its appeal to a regional mid-career engineering population. Expect updates to a range of program and course features later in the school year.
We’re looking forward to welcoming a new cohort of curious, stimulating, and engaged students to our virtual and in-person classrooms this fall – why not join us?
