Dr. Bouendeu is a professional engineer and professor at the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation (SEDTI). He holds a PhD in micro‑energy engineering from the University of Freiburg in Germany. Before joining the University of Ottawa, he spent seven years in Germany as a test engineer and eight years in Canada as a renewable‑energy designer and project manager. He has also served as a research professor at the University of Freiburg and as a part-time professor at La Cité collégiale.
