MEM and EMP Celebrate 155 Graduates at Spring Convocation
It was an exciting convocation season this past spring, with a total of 155 students graduating from our Engineering Management programs, including 36 Master’s degrees and 2 Graduate Diplomas from EMP, and 109 Master’s degrees and 8 Graduate Diplomas from MEM. More than 100 of those graduates were able to attend the convocation ceremony in person on June 12 at the Rogers Centre Ottawa.
Many graduates and their loved ones joined us on campus for a Graduates Reception, hosted by the Engineering Management Students Association (EMSA) at Café Nostalgica. 2025–2026 EMSA president and MEM graduate Venedict Tamondong emceed the event, which featured speeches from MEM graduate Victor Bernardes Ribas Gentile and MDTI graduate M’hammed El Merini, along with a keynote address from Jeanette Southwood, Vice President for Strategy and Partnerships at Engineers Canada. For many graduates who travelled from across Canada, it was a memorable first visit to campus — and a fitting way to walk across the convocation stage.
